A quick tutorial showing how to set up Apple's Compressor to downconvert from 720p60 (HD) to 480i60 (SD).
If you simply use the DVCPro50 preset that comes with Compressor, your video won't be interlaced (half of the frames are thrown out). This video tutorial shows how to enable interlacing so you can take full advantage of having 60 frames per second.

How to use Output Module Templates and Filename Presets to make quick work of saving multiple versions of the same render.
In this case it's a render with three movies being output:
1. A green screen version for chroma keying 2. A Straight RGB version 3. A traveling matte (ALPHA) for use with the Straight RGB version
Making a Render Settings template is very similar to making an Output Module template.
